Anxiety, Fears, and Depression

Living with any of these issues is always difficult and hurts your quality of life. Counselling is an effective way to ensure that your life isn’t damaged by living with these, whether you have these during a major change in your life only or if it is something you live with every day.. I can help you recognize how your thoughts affect both your feelings and behavior. Anxiety, fear and depression affects each person differently, I can help you understand your symptoms and work through the underlying factors so as to prevent them returning.

Divorce

With the divorce rate so high there are so many people hurting. After going through a divorce myself 10 years ago I realize the importance of not burying feelings and finding yourself again. Working towards forgiveness , new beginnings and endless possibilities. Life does not always turn out the way we have planned and sometimes you need someone to help you work through your emotions and have a caring, listening ear.

Discovering Your True Self and Purpose

The voices of our mind, heart, and soul are often unknown to us, and our unawareness of those voices keeps us from realizing their value and from searching for them. Occasionally fear also keeps us from looking within. By listening to our mind, heart, and soul, we see, feel, intuit, and experience powerful forces—negative and positive, dark and illuminating. But only by becoming familiar with what is within us can we know ourselves and our purpose.

Self-esteem/Self-worth

Counselling often addresses issues like low self-esteem and help clients gain a stronger sense of self. This can help a client become more assertive, confident and self-aware. Finding a sense of accomplishment is a huge boost to self-esteem, and therapy can help people identify specific activities that boost confidence and competence. Low self-esteem is also closely associated to depression, anxiety, shame and many other conditions. It is very important to continue to do exercises to build a positive self-esteem.

Dealing with Family or Friend Addiction

With the addiction rate rising rapidly the family of addicts are often left with no one to confide in. My goal is to bridge that gap and provide a listening ear ,guidance and empathy to families of addicts.

Communication Challenges

When communication issues negatively impact relationships, therapy may be needed. It can be easy for individuals to misunderstand or misinterpret others, and these misunderstandings may lead to arguments or tension in personal, platonic, or professional relationships. In some instances, conflicts may arise, and these conflicts can make communication even more challenging.
